| Description: | Scope Responsible for the overall operation of the station or group of stations including operations, business, production, programming, sales, engineering, promotions and marketing functions. Ensures station profitability and compliance with all applicable FCC regulations. General Responsibilities •Recruits, hires and manages all department heads •Provides regular performance feedback to staff •Maintain communication with corporate office Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities •Knowledge in all aspects of broadcasting sales and programming •Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations •Knowledge of EEO and labor laws •Computer literacy in applicable programs •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing •Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels •Ability to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlines Education and Licensing Requirements Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field; or equivalent level of experience Experience in Human Resources practices and procedures Must possess valid state drivers license Physical Requirements May occasionally require lifting up to 25 lbs.
