| Description: | Cox Radio Long Island has a full time opportunity for a creative copywriter and production assistant. It is imperative that the applicant has strong writing skills and can think out-of-the-box, often. The ideal candidate must have previous production skills and should be familiar with all audio production. They must have a positive attitude and work well under pressure for two radio stations. Candidate must be proficient in Adobe Audition or similar program for editing. Knowledge of videotaping and editing production skills a plus! Responsibilities Include: •Creative production (voicing, writing, dubbing, editing) of commercials for clients and stations. • Provide creative support to the sales departments with regard to commercials. •Assign and direct on-air-staff in the production and writing (where applicable) of commercials for clients. •Work with the traffic department to ensure all commercial copy and air dates are correct as provided by sales. •Work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines on a daily basis. •Organize and maintain pre-recorded commercial files for future use. |
