| Description: | Clear Channel Radio is looking for a Vice President/General Manager to oversee our high-performing 7-station radio cluster. The ideal candidate should have previous radio management experience and a proven track record of ratings, revenue and cash flow success. Primary responsibilities include managing all radio station efforts, including our sales, programming, marketing, and engineering departments. Responsible for annual budget planning and ensuring that departmental expenses are maintained within budget limits. Responsible for overseeing all personnel administration and development. Must keep informed of trends in radio industry and technological developments and monitor market competition. Responsible for adhering to all guidelines, policies and procedures of our company, the FCC and all other federal, state and local laws. College degree required; MBA preferred. Must have six to eight years related experience with a minimum of three years management experience. Excellent time management, administrative and leadership skills required. Must understand financial statements and projections. Must possess extensive knowledge of FCC rules. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of radio and broadcasting industry required. Must possess excellent leadership and communication skills, the ability to handle stress and financial pressures, and the ability to work with little or no supervision. |
